Architectural Specifications
Once Mezger Enterprises receives architectural plans for a project, the estimator does a quantity takeoff to develop the bid and create the foundation for the detailed shop drawings. After the quantity takeoff, project estimate and contractual agreements are agreed upon with the architect, builder, mason, etc. the drafting team creates shop drawings that detail all aspects of the project to ensure each piece is fabricated correctly.
The shop drawings are sent to the client for approval and to make any final dimensional changes to match field conditions. After approval of the shop drawings, the drafting team goes into the ticketing and pattern production and then either to the Lampasas or Lueders facilities where the slabbing process begins.
